  • Last night the sr girls volleyball team defeated Tecumseh Vista 3 sets to 0 by the scores of 25-15, 27-25, 25-17.  The second set was a bit scary but the sr Wildcats kept their composure and came up with the big plays when needed.  Having an outstanding game was Sarah Altenhof who was close to having a perfect game with 23 kills no service errors and 7 defensive digs.  Holding her own and distributing the ball extremely well was Natalie Liolli.  Congratulations to all members of the sr girls volleyball team.

Tomorrow night we will be playing our rivals Holy Names at home at 4:00.  It would be nice to have lots of fans in our gym to support your sr Wildcats.  Go cats!!!

·         Tonight is the last season game for B league curling.  Both of our teams face off against Amherst at Roseland.  Best of luck wildcats! Bus leaves 245.

·         The math club will meet in room 233 during lunch 1 on Thursday.

·         A congratulations goes out to Isabelle Jones, Dylan Langlois, Jacob DiLuca, and Sam Taranto for their entrepreneurship presentation at the University of Windsor on Friday night.  They came in 3rd place out of the 17 teams selected from 8 different schools for their presentation of STOVIES sweatshirts.  A special congratulations goes to Isabelle Jones who was selected as the winner of the Entrepreneur of the Year award out of all the candidates from all the schools.

·         Congratulations to the Swim Team! Final results are in and out of 18 schools, our boys' team took 2nd place and our girls took 7th place!   See you at practice tonight!

·         Over the weekend, the sr girls volleyball team played in a tournament at Amherst.  We only lost 1 set all day and even beat our rivals from Holy Names.  Outstanding play came from Sarah Altenhof, Madison Trotter and Madison Laramie, who were all named to the All Star team for the tournament. However, in the finals against Eden from Hamilton, our team suffered some injuries and struggled to manage anything consistent enough to be victorious.  This is indeed, a strong beginning to what should be a very successful season.  Congratulations to all members of the sr girls volleyball team.

·         Just a reminder to all Villanova curlers that tonight is the second last game of the season.  Tonights games are played against Essex and Massey at Roseland.  Players, our bus leaves by 245.  All players must attend. "
