·        Last night, the Senior boys soccer team played a well fought game against the determined L'Essor Eagles.  After a L'Essor player successfully put a head shot into the Wildcat net in the first half, the Wildcats stepped up the pressure to retaliate with some good hustling put forth by Russell McLarty, Joel Sands and Shaun Langlois.  Some aggressive playing put several of our players on the bench in the second half of the game with injuries.  Despite some serious attempts by the Wildcats to put a play together, our boys were frustrated by a multitude of offside calls that put all plays to an end. Final score: L'Essor -1, Villanova -0.  Better luck next Tuesday when the boys play Riverside on our field.  Come and cheer them on for their last game before play-offs!

·        Congratulations to Faith Cassidy, Nicholas Mosceo, Jordan Zanier, Madison Girard, Alma Jimenez Lopez, and Sarah Micallef who presented their entrepreneurship business pitches at the University of Windsor last night.  Special congratulations to Faith Cassidy who was selected - out of groups of students from 10 different schools  - to win the Woman Leader Entrepreneurship Excellence award.
